Game Of Thrones Spin-off A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms Shares First Image, Adds Cast

House of the Dragon Season 2 has only just begun, but the next chapter in the Game of Thrones franchise is already underway. The next series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is based on George R.R. Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas and takes place between House of the Dragon and Game of Thrones. Now that the show is in production, HBO has shared the first image from the series.

The image features Peter Claffey, who was cast earlier this year as Ser Duncan the Tall. Dexter Sol Ansell will play Egg, Duncan's squire, whose real name is Aegon Targaryen. The novellas explored Dunk and Egg's first meeting and how the former was given permission to serve and protect the future ruler of the seven kingdoms of Westeros.

HBO has also announced that Finn Bennett will co-star in the series as Aerion Targaryen, alongside Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Barotheon, and Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen.
