RIFT was released earlier this week, and so far it seems as though a lot of people are really enjoying it. For those of you that are waiting to get your hands on a copy, we've put together this nifty video comparing the opening cutscenes from the massively multiplayer online role playing game's two different factions: the Guardians and the Defiant.

Have you been playing RIFT for the past week, and if so did you go with the Guardians or the Defiant, and why? Personally, I rolled Defiant. But I'm sorely missing those awesome lion mounts that the Guardians get.
